The Acacia Centre is a fully accredited nursing home and aged care centre located in Marrickville, providing exceptional care for residents.
Residents can enjoy the garden in all weather in the central atrium, courtyards and undercover areas. The garden is a favourite area for residents and their families to relax and enjoy with special ramps provided for easy access. We often hold morning teas for residents in these areas.
Our residents enjoy the variety of recreational and community activities. Each day of the week offers new and varied activities ranging from in-house fitness and craft classes, through to taking residents out to community events and activities.
The Centre offers therapy facilities with hairdressers visiting on a regular basis and newspapers are delivered daily. Massage, aromatherapy and other natural therapies are also offered.
The Centre provides a choice of single or share accommodation and the rooms in a friendly and safe environment. Experienced Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours per day to provide high-level care and specialised nursing treatments.
The Acacia Centre accommodates residents from a variety of different descents including Greek, Chinese and Portuguese. To make sure all residents feel at home we offer multilingual staff, a culturally appropriate menu and specifically designed activity programs.
The Acacia Centre is centrally located. Its on the main bus 425 route to Sydenham Station and bus route 426 to the City, and is only 15 minutes walk from the Dulwich Hill station and 15 minutes drive to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Churches and shops are within easy walking distance.
