Meredith House Nursing Home

Meredith House is an aged care facility that specialises in the care of the frail aged and dementia residents. It is a secure centre comprising of two interconnected buildings. We have a very good reputation in the industry for providing a high standard of care and currently have a 100% bed occupancy rate with a waiting list of residents.

Meredith House has been operating under the present owners since 1990 and has undergone extensive renovations in 2016. Accreditation by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency was achieved for three years in July, 2016. The staff and management are very proud of this achievement.

Our policy is to be a quality organization that provides the best possible care, attention, food and facilities for our residents in a loving and concerned environment. This is achieved by a team approach to all activities, good communication between all staff, residents, relatives and friends.

Management, medical, nursing and general staff are committed to an ongoing process of improvement through the Quality Improvement Program.

Meredith House is located within walking distance from Homebush Railway Station and Strathfield Railway Station can be accessed by bus or car. There is secure off street parking available and as we are located on a quiet suburban street, there is ample on street parking as well. Meredith House is a ten-minute walk from Homebush railway station.

The bus stop is located just outside the facility to take you to Strathfield or Burwood Shopping Centre which hosts three main shopping centers as well as speciality shops, quality dining and cinemas. At Meredith House Aged Care Facility there are a range of social programs and activities available as well as spacious lounge areas, several outdoor courtyards, and a therapy room for arts, crafts and ball games.
