Our TriCare Mt Gravatt Aged Care Residence offers a traditional, purpose-built facility to cater to seniors needs as their lives change.
Our Mt Gravatt Aged Care Residence offers smaller wings, each with their own dining rooms. Our residents benefit from a more intimate community setting that builds strong relationships.
TriCare Mt Gravatt is surrounded by well-established gardens and has an enclosed covered internal courtyard for private visits or relaxing times. The onsite coffee lounge with alfresco dining in the home’s center is a popular destination for residents, families, and visitors.
We also offer hairdressing and beauty services to keep our residents looking their best!
As well as offering a vibrant community for our aged care residents, we provide a secure dementia wing for our high care dementia residents.
Residents in this wing have access to dementia-specific care and activities in a secure environment while enjoying freedom and safety, including a private garden where they can move about freely without restriction.
At TriCare Mt Gravatt, our residents can choose from various accommodation types and budgets. Choose from classic and superior room finishing’s for singles and couples, some with access to gardens and courtyards.
You are welcome to bring personal items to make your new home more comfortable and familiar, such as family photos, your favourite books, a few quilts and other sentimental possessions.
All rooms are fitted with an emergency call bell for your safety and convenience.
Classic
The Classic single and companion accommodations are fitted with reverse cycle heating and cooling, wardrobe, wall-mounted TV, armchair and space for small furniture items, mobility devices, and any other personal items we can accommodate in the room.
Our single and companion rooms in the secure area provide additional security for at-risk residents with special needs or dementia. This area has secured access to a private garden and has been designed to allow residents to move freely without restriction.
With a total of 136 beds, the sizes include:
Single room with ensuite                                  4.5m x 6.4m
Companion room with ensuite                        6m x 8.5m
Triple Companion room with ensuite             6.2m x 8.4m
Quad Companion room with ensuite             6.8m x 6.1m
Our Lifestyle Coordinators work tirelessly to ensure that residents have various activities each month to keep them active and socially engaged. The activities can include:

The Mt Gravatt Aged Care Residence team organise regular activities where residents virtually visit different countries. Residents from the highlighted country discuss their experiences, themed movies or documentaries are shown, and the onsite chefs prepare food from that region.
Some of the care team are also multilingual engage with any residents who choose to converse in another language.
