Facility Details

TriCare Jindalee Aged Care Residence is a peaceful family-style residence in a leafy suburban surround. It has been modernised to provide comforting care and accommodations for residents. Our facility has a longstanding reputation for Aged Care, with long-serving staff dedicated to providing personalised care.

Residents have access to the library, large outdoor areas with lush gardens, landscaped BBQ patios, and extensive walking paths.

We have spacious dining rooms for chats over meals, private lounges with TVs equipped with Foxtel. We also offer sound equipment, a piano, wi-fi access, and a reading corner to allow our residence to relax how they choose.

All residents have access to a dedicated hairdressing salon to keep themselves looking and feeling their best!

Linked with the James Ommaney Retirement Community via a covered walkway makes it the perfect option for couples who need to access different levels of care while sharing the same grounds. A short 200-metre stroll brings you to the adjacent Retirement Community.

     

Room Details

At TriCare Jindalee, you can choose from one of our classic or premium accommodations, both designed for your comfort and support.

All of our accommodation opens up to the lovely outdoor spaces and gardens and include individually controlled heating and cooling to keep you comfortable year-round. You can choose from various layouts and sizes, from 10m2 to 29m2.

You are welcome to bring personal items to make your new home more comfortable and familiar, such as family photos, your favourite books, a few quilts and other sentimental possessions.

All rooms are fitted with an emergency call bell for your safety and convenience.

Classic

Our classic single and companion accommodations are more traditional in style and décor.

The rooms feature plenty of natural light, a wardrobe, TV, chair, and space for small personal belongings.

Superior

Our single superior accommodations feature beautiful garden views, private ensuites with a walk-in shower, plenty of natural light, wardrobe, armchair, TV, telephone connexion (subject to charges), and space for small furniture and mobility devices.

With a total of 93 beds, room sizes include:

Companion room with ensuite                         22m²

Companion room without ensuite                   29m²

Single room with ensuite                                   19m²

Single room without ensuite                             10m²

 

Activities

Our Lifestyle Coordinators aim to keep our residents active and socially engaged, catering to different interests and abilities. Residents can choose what they would like to participate in and make suggestions for the next month. The activities can include:

Multicultural activities are available and run weekly for residents from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

AS & ES

We offer a premium dining room and lounge access, extra meal and drink options, and laundry as part of our extra services. You can arrange a private phone line, internet and cable TV.

Food

• Breakfast: Choice of continental or hot breakfast on Sunday, choice of hot and cold cereals and beverages
• Morning tea: Variety of cakes, slices, and pastries and a beverage selection
• Lunch: Variety of soups, choice of 2 hot meals, salad and cold meat platters, variety of hot and cold desserts, selection of hot and cold beverages, and selection of red or white wine and beer
• Afternoon tea: Variety of sweet and dry biscuits and choice of hot or cold beverages
• Dinner may include various soups, hot baked items, salad plates, side salads, and freshly made sandwiches. Selection of hot or cold beverages and bread
• Supper: a selection of hot or cold beverages, a variety of sweet or dry biscuits
