For many seniors it is difficult to know when to get help with managing medication and the positive impact that this may have for you and your loved ones.
We would like to share Kirsten’s story about her dad Russell and what the My Aspect Health experience means to Russell and his family.
Our family was sharing a beautiful Christmas day when we noticed a change in cognitive behaviour and general health decline of our much-loved dad.
Initially we didn’t realise that this was a medication issue and thought that maybe this was just all part of ageing now that our dad was tapping on 70’s door. Being a home body and sufferer of anxiety, coupled with the threat of Covid-19, meant that certain medications weren’t taken, were mixed up and in general were all over the place.
We talked to dad about medication management and the work done by My Aspect Health which would mean that all his prescriptions would be taken care of, and all his medication would be packed into doses for his convenience. He would not need to physically go to the doctor to get new prescriptions, he could use telehealth and have them sent directly to My Aspect Health. The best part of this was that there was no charge for packing dad’s medication or for having it delivered to him monthly. We didn’t need to worry about whether dad had his prescriptions or whether he was following the doctor’s health plan; we knew it would be covered by the My Aspect Health team.
We are now 6 months in, and I cannot thank My Aspect Health enough for the change you have made to our lives. Having dad’s medication under control has shaved a good ten years off him. He is out and about visiting friends and family and has even purchased himself new clothing. He looks fantastic and has a new spring in his step. We are surprised by the positive impact that this has had on both dad and our family.
I cannot recommend medication management enough and love that we are not paying any packing or delivery fees with My Aspect Health. The service is so easy, and dad has access to anything from the pharmacy at no delivery charge. Dad loves the little gifts he receives here and there also. Thank you so much for helping our family.
