Bedside Beauty & Wellness is a professional service specialising in the Aged Care, Home Care, Health Care and Disability Care sectors since 2011.

My name is Lidia, and I established the service following numerous hospital admissions and subsequent periods confined to bed at home. My father was also living with the debilitating effects of Multiple Sclerosis at the time. I was frustrated and disappointed by the lack of services available to assist with our basic personal care and grooming needs and realised that there was real need in the community that simply wasn’t being met. It was almost impossible to find a mobile hairdresser or therapist, let alone one who could assist someone in hospital, in bed, in a wheelchair, with health problems or in a difficult personal situation, suffering or recovering from illness, with a lack of mobility, ageing or disability.

Although working as a legal professional at the time, I set out to create a mobile service unlike any other. With a focus on personal care, physical and emotional wellbeing, Bedside Beauty & Wellness was specifically created as a mobile service for those at home, in hospital and in care, run by a professional and compassionate team. A service that through assistance with self-care, personal grooming, and massage therapy, promotes mental health and overall wellbeing.

Bedside Beauty & Wellness understands that it’s difficult to see someone you love struggle to take care of themselves. We know first-hand that personal care and grooming are fundamental to one’s basic needs as well as their mental and emotional wellbeing and we are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of those we serve.

We make it possible for everyone and happily work around the personal and health care needs of every individual, tailoring our services to meet their specific needs.

Specialising in hand and foot nail care, therapeutic massage to assist with pain relief, mobility, and circulatory issues, as well as waxing, skin care and hair services, we take great pride in caring for clients in the comfort and familiarity of their own surrounds.

Our therapists are suitably qualified, experienced, specially trained, and fully equipped to provide services safely and professionally at home, in hospital or in care, for those who find it difficult to get out.

Currently working with around 50 of Australia’s leading aged care, disability care and health care providers in both Adelaide and Melbourne, Bedside Beauty & Wellness aims to help our community and ageing Australians live happily, safely, and independently for longer.
