Community Transport Services Tasmania (CTST) has been helping Tasmanians stay connected for more than 30 years.
We are a statewide not-for-profit shared service that delivers affordable door-to-door transport to support people to live well, maintain their independence, and connect with their community.
You will enjoy peace of mind travelling with us in a safe environment by a friendly team of drivers, many of which are volunteers.
Our fleet of vehicles are located around the state, and include sedans, SUVs, and minibuses.
CTST operates Monday to Friday from approximately 8am – 6pm and delivers both personal and group transport.
Personal transport
We can take you to:
- Medical appointments
- Shopping
- The bank
- Post Office
- Hairdresser
- Pharmacy
- Local events and activities
- visit family and friends or to catch up for coffee
If there is somewhere you would like to go, just ask us.
Group transport
We offer group transport through our social outings program: ‘Out and Abouts’.
This program aims to reduce social isolation and build connections, giving participants the opportunity to make new friends or to catch up with old ones.
The program is open to eligible consumers who are on the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
Out and Abouts are a mix of sightseeing and visiting local attractions. We stop at a local eatery for morning tea or lunch, and there are plenty of stops along the journey.  You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch with you on the day.
