Home Care Package Approved: Have a Home Care Package? You may be eligible to have 70% of the meal cost funded by your Home Care Package.
Affordable Minimum Order: To get started, all you need is a minimum order of $59. We’ve kept it accessible so you can enjoy our gourmet offerings without breaking the bank.
Delivery Fee: For your convenience, we charge a nominal delivery fee of just $8.90 with each order.
Our Personalised Delivery Service Options: At Gourmet Meals our home delivery service goes above and beyond, our drivers are happy to assist taking the meals inside, packing them away, or you can take advantage of our free ice box service and have the meals left at your property in a location of choice.
Over the phone ordering options: At Gourmet Meals you don’t have to just order online, our office located on the Gold Coast is available Monday – Friday to take your orders over the phone.
Pick-Up Option: If you’re a Gold Coast local, feel free to save on the delivery fee and weekly schedule to pick up your order directly from our Gold Coast warehouse.

We’re Even a Preferred Supplier of Prepared Meals for Home Care Service Providers
If you have been assessed and approved for a Home Care Package you could be eligible for the delivery of prepared meals within your package.
Gourmet Meals is a private service (non-funded), and a preferred supplier of prepared meals for Aged Care Service Providers. Note that we are not an Aged Care Service Provider.
Our Gourmet Meals are produced according to the Australian Guidelines to Healthy Eating and the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand. The meals are recognised by health practitioners, dieticians and nutritionists as being a healthy option, especially for the elderly. They assist in maintaining a healthy weight and in providing all the necessary nutrients and vitamins required for a well-balanced diet.
As a preferred “Supplier of Prepared and Delivered Meals” for many Home Care Service Providers, Gourmet Meals can offer:

Home Care Package (HCP) – We can accept HCP clients
- Home Care Packages are for those with greater or more complex care needs. If you need many care and support services on an ongoing basis, you could be eligible for a Home Care Package (HCP).
- Home Care Packages can provide many different services to meet your needs. Personal care, nursing, meal preparation and diet, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, domestic assistance, home maintenance, transport, social support etc. The higher the needs, the higher the package level, the more funds will be available to cover these services. A comprehensive assessment will be done with an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).
- Your assessor will need to take some time to review the information and to decide whether you are eligible. There is a lot of demand for Home Care Packages, so, although you may be “approved” for a package, there may be a wait before one can be “assigned” to you.
- To ensure you can access the help you need at an affordable price, the government subsidises a variety of organisations across Australia. These organisations are called Aged Care Service Providers, and they have access to government funding. They deliver care and services to you at a subsidised price.
- If you have been assessed and approved for a Home Care Package you could be eligible for the delivery of prepared meals within your package.
While you are waiting, you might want to start gathering information to see what’s out there and who you would like to use, so that you’re prepared once you are assigned a Home Care Package.
