The Inglewood & Districts Health Service (IDHS) is situated in the Loddon Shire, approximately 50 kilometres from Bendigo with the catchment area including the southern half of the Loddon Shire having a population of approximately 4,830 (Loddon Shire, 2018).
The township of Inglewood was founded in 1859 as part of the Gold Rush in Victoria, the original hospital built in 1863 and remains in the same location.
Our Inglewood site is the main campus and comprises of 8 Acute Hospital beds a 2-bed urgent care and 35 bed aged care facility.
Inglewood and Districts Health Service (IDHS) was formed on January 1st 1996 following the amalgamation of the Inglewood Hospital and the Inglewood and Districts Community Health Centre.
