Open for business and fully operational, Mertome Aged Care residents are already witnessing improvements including the introduction of 24-hour nursing care and more tailored dietary and activity options.

Mertome Aged Care’s approach is now led by Hall & Prior’s experienced and award-winning staff and reflects the Group’s commitment to tailored, best-practice care options and the intimacy of care.

The home offers our extensive operational care programs and facilities including specialised high-level permanent care, respite and dementia support, and specialist palliative care.

Mertome Aged Care also offers a range of broader services including a podiatry room and hairdressing salon. Pensioners are welcome.

More than $1million of improvements are currently underway including specialist architecture to improve light, access and layout of Mertome Aged Care, as well as the refurbishment of the resident rooms, facilities and grounds. A specialist Memory Support Unit will also be established in coming months. Works are scheduled around the needs of current Mertome Aged Care residents to minimise any disturbance.

For immediate requirements, we have respite and permanent beds available in single rooms with ensuites – and some with shared bathroom facilities – available. All rooms are suitable for people with high and complex care requirements.
