Navorina Aged Care demonstrates intrinsic bonds with our environment and encourages involvement and interaction with the local community of Deniliquin. These engagements take many forms. One is our mothers’ group, where mothers bring their babies and children providing emotional and physical stimulation and bonds between generations. Another is bingo, where our volunteers provide the prizes, social interaction and assistance. Also, our local Mens’ Shed who provide chooks, gardening opportunities and a sense of purpose for our residents living in Navorina, just to name a few.

At Navorina we encourage our residents to think of moving to Navorina as a new address in their town rather than an institution. We recognise that moving to residential care can be a difficult and emotional time and encourage families and staff to liaise and plan care together for the best outcomes for residents and their loved ones.

Many of our residents have had other family members live in Navorina, and feel very at home here. We also have married couples living at Navorina, members of the LGBQ community, and welcome diverse cultures and languages. Whether you are coming to Navorina for respite or permanent residential care we proudly say all are welcome to the diverse and unique place that is Navorina.

Our mission is to provide individualised, person centred care that caters for the whole person, encourages a sense of purpose, and opportunities for our residents to feel loved and fulfilled while receiving excellent clinical care and support to live their lives their way, and to the utmost.We welcome visitors and are happy to provide opportunities for a tour.
