Our vast 15-hectare property is filled with beautiful landscaped gardens, outdoor areas, quality amenities and spacious interiors and rooms in order to provide all the comforts of home for our residents. Our gardens and outdoor areas are the perfect spot for individual quiet time or group activities as well as gatherings with family and friends. Located in the historic suburb of Bass Hill, our Centre is minutes away from Bass Hill Plaza, Chester Hill Square, local services and public transport.
At Weeroona Aged Care Centre, we recognise the importance of family and friends and encourage them to be an active part of our community. Our staff work closely with families to ensure that their loved one receives the best personalised care for them. Many of our residents have recommended our care to other family members and friends, further adding to our homely setting. We focus on helping our residents to live their best lives and provide holistic care to cater for our residents’ overall wellbeing and our staff and management are always available to answer any questions and assist in whatever way they can.
We have strong ties and work closely with the local community, and over time we have built a reputation as an organisation that genuinely cares for others in need without discrimination, regardless of their personal circumstances.
Our Services
At Weeroona Aged Care Centre, we offer permanent residential care including palliative care and memory support; and respite (short-term) care. We also offer eligible resident in-house NDIS services.
Our staff and Chaplain go beyond the clinical to cater for the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our residents. Our residents are in good hands with our friendly, compassionate and qualified staff whose aim is to ensure all residents receive the best care possible and feel at home.
24-hour care from our dedicated and professional staff
Each staff member has undergone reference and security checks to ensure they are fully qualified, experienced and are passionate about working in the aged care sector. Our staff undergo ongoing training as well to make sure they are up to speed with the latest processes and knowledge. Emotional intelligence and sensitivity to diversity are other key factors that we take into consideration when recruiting staff into our Centre community.

Exercise and wellbeing programs
We take fun quite seriously! The Centre has a dedicated Lifestyle team that organises daily activities based on the suggestions of residents via resident meetings including animal therapy, music therapy, art therapy, movie nights, regular visiting entertainers and Bible study group.
Our residents can enjoy outings on our centre bus and our other onsite amenities including our hairdressing salon, mini library and indoor lawn bowl.
We also have a walking group and sensory program that takes place in our gardens to help maintain residents’ cognition and mobility.

Pastoral and chaplaincy services
We have a holistic model of care. The Centre Chaplains play an important role in bringing this to life. We also have a chapel onsite. Whatever your beliefs, our Chaplains are here to assist in your spiritual and emotional journey, if you wish – because we don’t have clients, only family.
