The Handybar is a portable support handle designed to help you safely get in and out of a car it simply inserts into the door latch of your car to act as a temporary handle. This lightweight, versatile product is especially useful for safe transfer for low profile cars or higher SUVs and is designed to fit the majority of vehicles on the market. So easy to insert and remove, the Handybar fits securely into the passenger or driver side door. The product simply hooks into the solid metal latch of the car door for comfortable grip and optimal leverage. Place one hand on this handle to support your weight as you lift or lower yourself into the car. The handle is made from thermoplastic rubber for a firm, non-slip grip, with contoured grooves to fit the fingers. This lightweight product is small enough to store discreetly when not in use. Keep it inside your glove box, inside the door console or even slip it into your handbag so it's with you at all times. Some added extras make this product doubly useful in the car in the event of an unexpected emergency. The strong tip can be used to break a window if ever trapped inside the vehicle, while the concealed cutting device underneath the handle can be used to cut through a seat belt. This product has a maximum user weight of 155 kilograms.

Delivery

Aged Care Made Easy uses a range of delivery services which offer our customers the best service and the lowest cost. Shipping costs will be calculated based on weight and shipped as soon as possible. If your goods are out of stock, we will notify you within 24 business hours.

We have a flat rate shipping charge of $22.00 excluding “BetterLiving Lightweight Indoor/Outdoor Wheeled Walker” and “BetterLiving Euro Wheeled Walker” which have a flat rate shipping charge of $60.00

Track and Trace

We provide tracking details by email on the day that your order is dispatched. You will be able to track your order online with this information

Special Events / Holidays

Aged Care Made Easy will close on NSW Public Holidays as will some of our courier services.  This may cause a delay on deliveries sent around these times. ACME operates on reduced staff during the Christmas period.  This means we will not be available to process your order as quickly as usual.

Aged Care Made Easy will always endeavour to provide you with the quickest and best delivery service.  If the product you have purchased is placed on backorder you will be notified within 24 working hours of an ETA by email.

As courier services vary slightly we have estimated the delivery times once your product has been dispatched from our warehouse in Sydney, NSW.

Sydney Metro 1 to 2 days

Gosford / Central Coast / Wollongong / Newcastle / Blue Mountains 2 to 3 days

Melbourne / Brisbane / Gold Coast 2 to 3 days

Adelaide 2 to 3 days

Hobart 2 to 5 days

Darwin / Perth 4 to 6 days

Central and North Queensland 4 to 5 days

Rural and Remote Areas up to 7 days

Product Returns

Should you wish to return a product please complete the request to return form below within 14 days from the date your order was shipped.

In accordance with the Department of Fair Trading we are not required to accept return of an item due to change of mind or incorrect choice however we assess each request on a case by case scenario.

If we choose to accept return of the item a restocking fee of 20% of the item price may be applied. The goods must be unused, undamaged and in perfect condition.  The original postage price will not be refunded.

If the product comes in a specific box, we request that you do not affix any labels or tape to the box and that you wrap the box before sending it back to us.  Note however, you are not required by law to return the goods in original packaging.

You are required to source your own delivery of the product back to us. We recommend you use a service which provides you with proof of delivery. Once the item is returned you will be refunded within 7 working days less the original freight cost and any restocking fees.

If you are requesting an exchange of a product you will be required to pay the freight cost of shipping this product to you.

PLEASE NOTE: For Health and Hygiene reasons we do not accept returns or refunds on any of the following types of products unless they are faulty and within warranty:

  • Bathroom, shower and toilet aids including urinals and bed pans
  • Daily living aids that may come into contact with the mouth or body
