James Barker House is a well recognised and highly respected aged care centre in the Footscray community.
We take pride in our services and specialise in providing 24 hour care for all older people, including those who are marginalised or at risk of becoming homeless. Our tailored programs are designed to uphold the wellbeing and dignity of our residents and empower them to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle.
The Centre spreads out to eight wings, each with easy access to dining, lounge, living rooms, activity rooms, courtyards and the cinema.
We are close to public transport with easy access to local markets, cafes and other amenities. The Centre bus is available for scheduled day trips and we work closely with families and local communities to maintain those connections for the overall wellbeing of our residents.
